In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), TWIE, also known as Tradewinds International Enterprises Inc., of San Francisco, Calif., is voluntarily recalling about 152,000 “Sky Champion” Wireless Indoor Helicopters. The rechargeable battery contained inside the helicopter can catch fire, igniting the helicopter and nearby combustible materials. This poses a burn or fire hazard to consumers.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Char-Broil LLC, of Columbus, Ga., is voluntarily recalling about 400 Char-Broil Model 463720108 Two-Burner Gas Grills. On the recalled grills, the main burner does not fit correctly and does not connect properly to the gas valve which could result in a propane leak. This poses fire and burn hazards to consumers.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Frigidaire Canada, a sister company of Electrolux Home Products Inc., of Cleveland, Ohio, is voluntarily recalling about 7,500 Kenmore Wall Ovens. During extended broiling, gas can build in the oven cavity and escape when the oven door is opened. This poses a burn and possible fire hazard to consumers.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), about 4,800 Broil King Gas Grills sold at Independent retailers nationwide are being recalled. The bottom of the cook box that contains the burners can melt or crack as a result of a grease fire. This poses a fire and burn hazard to consumers.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Avon Products Inc., of New York, N.Y., is voluntarily recalling about 113,000 Cozy Warming Polar Bears. The warming pouch inside the bear can overheat and ignite when heated in a microwave oven, posing a fire and burn hazard to consumers.

The wires under the hood of the car and/or in the battery compartment under the seat can short circuit, posing a fire and burn hazard to children riding in the car.

Flames from the tea candle can extend up the sides of the dish. In addition, a label on the bottom of the dish causes excessive smoke when exposed to the flame. This poses fire and burn hazards to consumers.

The iron’s “on/off” switch was installed incorrectly. When the iron is plugged in and switch is in the “off” position, the iron remains “on,” which could pose fire and burn hazards.

The firm has received four reports of the fuel tank leaking. No injuries have been reported.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Honeywell International Inc., of Morristown, N.J., is voluntarily recalling about 4,000 Gas Valves Used in Decorative Fireplaces and Stoves. The activation knob on the valve can be left in a position between OFF and PILOT, which can cause the pilot gas to leak and accumulate prior to burner ignition. This can pose the risk of thermal burns to consumers when they light the pilot of the fireplace or stove.

The sweaters fail to meet Federal flammability requirements. The tubes on these fireworks devices could become loose, making the devices unstable during use. If the device tips over during use, it could pose burn and injury hazards to bystanders.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Char-Broil LLC, of Columbus, Ga., is voluntarily recalling about 600 Char-Broil Two-Burner Gas Grills Model 463720407. The recalled grills could have an incorrect heat shield that does not fit the grills. Without the correct heat shield, the propane tank, hose, and regulator could overheat and damage these components, presenting a risk of fire and burn to consumers, if a propane leak occurs.

The oil candles can become engulfed in flames and melt the plastic cups holding the candles in place, allowing hot wax to leak out, which poses fire and burn hazards to consumers.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Hanna Andersson of Portland, Ore., is voluntarily recalling about 12,300 Hanna Andersson Children’s Crossover Tee and Lounge Pant Sets and Cropped Johns. The recalled garments fail to meet the children’s sleepwear flammability standards. The Crossover Tee and Lounge Pant sets were marketed as loungewear. The Cropped Johns were not marketed as loungewear, but could be used as loungewear. The children’s sleepwear flammability standards require sleepwear, including loungewear, to be either snug-fitting or flame resistant.

These lounge pants are 100 percent cotton and fail to meet the children’s sleepwear flammability standards, posing a risk of burn injury to children. These garments were not labeled or marketed as sleepwear, but because they are children’s loungewear, they must meet the children’s sleepwear flammability standards.

If the batteries are placed backwards in the remote control with the positive and negative sides improperly switched, overheating can result and present a burn hazard.
