ETHEX Corporation announced today that it has voluntarily recalled specific additional lots of morphine sulfate 60 mg extended release tablets, and specific lots of morphine sulfate 30 mg extended release tablets, as a precaution, due to the possible presence of oversized tablets. Oversized tablets may contain as much as two times the labeled level of active morphine sulfate. The recalled lots were distributed by ETHEX Corporation under an "ETHEX" label between June 2006 and May 2008.

ETHEX Corporation announced today that it has voluntarily recalled a single lot of morphine sulfate 60 mg extended release tablets (Lot No. 91762) due to a report of a tablet with twice the appropriate thickness. Oversized tablets may contain as much as two times the labeled level of active morphine sulfate. The lot was distributed by ETHEX Corporation under an "ETHEX" label between April 16th and April 27th of 2008. No other dosage strength, nor any other lot of the 60 mg strength is affected by this recall.

Fresh Express Foods Corporation, Inc. of Medford Oregon is voluntarily recalling cut cubed processed cantaloupe. This product was received from C.H. Robinson, supplied by Agropecuaria Montelibano, a grower in Honduras. This product has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella and with the knowledge of the Food and Drug Administration we have recalled all of the product.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Yamaha Motor Corporation U.S.A., of Cypress, Calif., is voluntarily recalling about 7,800 Model Year 2008 Rhino YXR450 and YXR700 Side-by-Side Vehicles. The brake caliper on the left front wheel could have been made incorrectly, resulting in brake fluid leaking. This can cause a loss of braking and control of the vehicle, posing a serious safety risk to the driver and passenger.

The Hartz Mountain Corporation is voluntarily recalling a second specific lot of Hartz Vitamin Care for Cats due to concerns that bottles within the lot may have been potentially contaminated with Salmonella. Hartz is fully cooperating with the US Food and Drug Administration in this voluntary recall. Hartz recalled a specific lot code of Hartz Vitamin Care for Cats last November due to similar concerns. Both lot codes were manufactured for Hartz by UFAC (USA) Inc. in 2007, and were removed from distribution last November. However, bottles from the second lot had been shipped to customers prior to their having been removed from distribution.

Summit Import Corp. is recalling all packages of Sum Cheong Lung brand Dried Fish discovered by New York State Dept. of Agriculture and Markets Food Inspectors during a routine inspection and subsequent analysis of the product by Food Laboratory personnel confirming that the fish had not been eviscerated prior to processing. This product may be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum spores, which can cause Botulism, a serious and potentially fatal foodborne illness.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Acer America Corporation, of San Jose, Calif., is voluntarily recalling about 27,000 rechargeable lithium-ion batteries containing Sony-made cells used in Acer notebook computers. The lithium-ion batteries can overheat, posing a fire hazard to consumers.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Syratech Corporation, of East Boston, Mass., is voluntarily recalling about 10,000 Frog, Fish or Duck Lawn Sprinklers. The plastic body of the lawn sprinkler can crack when placed under intense water pressure and pieces of it can break off and be projected 5 to 10 feet in the air. This could pose a risk of injury to consumers and bystanders.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Nine West Footwear Corp. of White Plains, N.Y., is voluntarily recalling about 6,700 pairs of Sam & Libby Girl's Thong Sandals. The sandals' metal tacks, which help to hold down the sides of the strap to the sole, can detach or be pulled out, posing a laceration hazard.

The fuel tanks can crack and leak fuel, posing a risk of fires and burn injuries.

When This Condition Exists, It May Eventually Cause Cracking At The Base Of The Shoulder Slots Resulting In Exposed Belt Wire Which Could Lead To Accelerated Belt Degradation, Which Could Result In A Separation. If The Separation Is Not Detected, Continued Use May Cause The Ply Cords To Break And The Tubeless Liner To Tear And Lose The Inflating Air.

If the lamp drive circuit touches the shield case, the unit is not grounded, and a person were to contact metal terminals at the back of the unit, there is a potential for electric shock.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), The Brinkmann Corporation, of Dallas, Texas is voluntarily recalling about 130,000 Brinkmann-brand and Charmglow-brand Gas Grills manufactured by Brinkmann. The regulators on these gas grills, the component that controls the amount of gas released to the burner, could leak gas when attached to certain liquid propane tanks. This poses a risk of fire and burn injuries.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. of Cypress, California is voluntarily recalling about 86,000 Raptor YFM660R ATVs. Vibration from the engine and driveline during long periods of high rpm usage could cause the rear master cylinder reservoir to agitate resulting in brake fluid aeration. A small amount of air bubbles could enter the master cylinder adversely affecting rear brake performance.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), American Suzuki Motor Corp., of Brea, California, is voluntarily recalling about 30,000 Suzuki 2004-2005 model year Vinson and 2005 KingQuad ATVs. Water can enter the throttle lever case and freeze, causing the throttle lever to become stuck and fail to automatically return to the idle position when the rider releases the throttle. If the throttle lever does not automatically return to the idle position when the rider releases the throttle, the ATV will not slow down as the rider expects. The rider could lose control of the ATV and an accident resulting in injury or death could occur.

An electrical defect within the dishwashers’ wash motor wiring poses a risk of the motor overheating and possibly catching fire.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Cannondale Bicycle Corporation, of Bethel, Conn. is recalling about 1,480 1-X Bicycle Suspension Seat Posts. The seat posts may have been improperly manufactured, which could cause the seat post to fail prematurely. A failure could lead to a crack in the bicycle seat post, which may cause the rider to fall or crash.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Umarex, of Arnsburg, Germany is voluntarily recalling about 24,000 Walther CP Sport, CP99, and Nighthawk CO2 Air Pistols. The air pistols' safety might move from the engaged or "safe" position to the disengaged or "fire" position when the trigger is pulled once or more and then released. This poses a risk of serious injury if the air pistol is loaded and unintentionally fired.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), American Suzuki Motor Corporation is voluntarily recalling about 1,500 Suzuki 2005 model year DR-Z110K5 off-road motorcycles. The rear shock absorber may have been assembled with an incorrect o-ring, allowing fluid to leak from the shock absorber. Fluid loss from the shock absorber can compromise the shock's damping characteristics, which can render the motorcycle unstable creating a potential for injury or death.

Gas leak and fire hazard. The burner tubes may not fit fully into the gas valves. If a consumer pulls on the console, the metal may flex and the gas valves may disconnect from the burners, releasing gas and creating a fire risk that could cause injury and property damage.
