Lexar JumpDrive® Computer Storage Devices Recalled for Burn Hazard, Certain Models Involved

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Lexar Media Inc., of Fremont, Calif., is voluntarily recalling about 66,000 Lexar JumpDrive® FireFly and 1GB Secure II flash drives. The recalled JumpDrives® FireFly and Secure II products could overheat, posing a risk of burns to consumers and property damage.

No incidents or injuries have been reported.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled JumpDrive® Firefly and Secure II devices and contact Lexar to receive a free replacement product.
