Baja Motorsports Recalls To Repair Youth ATVs Due To Lack of Equipment; Poses Risk of Injury To Riders

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Baja Motorsports, of Phoenix, Ariz., is voluntarily recalling about 16,000 Baja ATVs. These ATVs lack a tire pressure gauge and flag pole mounting bracket, which could pose a risk of injury to riders.

Description
The recalled youth ATVs include the Baja 90, Baja Wilderness 90 and Baja Wilderness 90u. The ATVs came in blue, green, red and camouflage and “Baja” is written on the side of each gas tank.
Hazards
These ATVs lack a tire pressure gauge and flag pole mounting bracket, which could pose a risk of injury to riders.
Incidents
None reported.
Remedy
Owners should contact Baja Motorsports to receive a free tire pressure gauge and flag pole mounting bracket. Registered owners will be notified directly about this recall by mail.
