In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Buy-Rite Designs Inc., of Freehold, NJ, is voluntarily recalling about 43,000 Sparkle City Charm Bracelets and Tack Pin Sets. The recalled jewelry contains high levels of lead. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.

Sparkle City Charm Bracelets and Tack Pin Sets

Description

The recalled charm bracelets have silver-colored star and butterfly charms, and clear and pink beads that hang from a silver-colored chain. The tack pins are silver butterflies or stars with clear and pink beads.

Hazards

The recalled jewelry contains high levels of lead. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.

Incidents

None reported.

Remedy

Consumers should immediately take the recalled jewelry away from children and return it to the store where purchased for a full refund. If unable to return it to the stores, contact Buy-Rite for information on how to receive a refund.
