Iceberg Enterprises LLC Recalls Folding Chairs Due to Fall Hazard

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Iceberg Enterprises LLC, of Park Ridge, Ill., is voluntarily recalling about 75,000 Plastic Folding Chairs. The plastic folding chairs can collapse during use, posing a fall hazard to consumers.

Description

This recall involves Iceberg plastic round leg folding chairs. The metal support of the chair is charcoal and the seat and back support are beige. “Iceberg” is printed on a logo located on the back of the seat. Chairs with oval-shaped legs are not included in this recall.

Hazards

The plastic folding chairs can collapse during use, posing a fall hazard to consumers.

Incidents

Iceberg Enterprises has received about 15 reports of chairs collapsing while in use, including three minor injuries.

Remedy

Consumers should stop using the chairs immediately and contact Iceberg Enterprises to receive a free repair kit with instructions.
